Soy Andy. Economista.

I'm Andy. Economist. Colombian, from Cali — important that you know I dance well. Several countries before landing in Madrid, where I somehow maintain three lives that look nothing alike: I work in international public health, I invest in the stock market, and I run what you're reading. I like all three. I wouldn't trade any of them.

I've been lifting for over a decade. I started without knowing what I was doing, and at this point it's the most stable thing in my life. The gym is where I think, where I process, where my body reminds me it works. At this point, it's not fitness. It's identity.

This identity isn't built only in the gym. It's also built in the kitchen, at the supermarket, on Friday night when you decide what to eat and how you feel about it. At some point I asked myself why I could have a flexible relationship with food, train without it being a punishment, and not live at war with my body. And the answer wasn't discipline. The answer was in something that's obsessed me for years: why people don't do what they know they should. Behavioural science has a lot to say about that, and I've been listening for a long time.

Menos culpa.

The Andy Lab is where all those obsessions come together. It exists to help other women change the conversation they have with themselves. Understand how they make decisions. Remove guilt from the equation. Stop thinking it's about willpower and start building an environment where the right decisions are the easiest ones. So your body does what you ask of it. More muscle. Less guilt.
